Privacy Policy

In accordance with Article 17 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data ("Official Gazette of the Republic of N. Macedonia" No. 42/20 and 294/21) and point 11 of the Foundation Declaration of KOSTAL MAKEDONIJA DOOEL Ohrid, we have adopted the following:

Description of the personal data processing process

The personal data of the persons who participate in the employment procedure ("applicants") will be processed during the selection of the most suitable candidates for employment in KOSTAL MAKEDONIJA DOOEL Ohrid ("KOSTAL").

Purpose and the legal basis for processing data

We process personal data in order to select the most suitable candidate for filling the job positions for which an advertisement has been published or for other positions that will be available during the data processing period. We process the data as a pre-contractual activity, that is, the legal basis of the processing is the fulfillment of a contract in which the applicant is a potential contracting party and at his request, activities are undertaken before entering into such an employment contract.

Personal data categories and users

We process the personal data listed in the biographies that applicants share with KOSTAL: 

а). on a recruitment platform (https://www.vrabotuvanje.com.mk/). 

b). email address: кomak_hr(at)kostal.com or apliciraj@kostal.com at the official web page of KOSTAL 

c). handover in hard copy to HR Department, directly by the applicant or as a recommendation from other employee. 

Photo, name, surname, nationality, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number, work experience, education and other data through which the applicants are identified and given in the biographies are considered as personal data. KOSTAL will not process personal data that is not received from applicants.

These personal data will be disclosed to the employees of the Department of Human Resources Management in KOSTAL responsible for the selection of candidates as well as the heads of the departments in which the applicant would work. The personal data submitted to the e-mail address komak_hr@kostal.com or apliciraj(at)kostal.com can also be made available to other persons in the KOSTAL Group who have special security authorizations.                                                          

Storage time period

The retention period for CVs is:

• 6 months: for non-selected applicants who have expressly stated that their CVs cannot be used for the need to fill other  vacant positions;

• 6 months after termination of employment: for applicants who will be selected- as employees of KOSTAL MAKEDONIJA DOOEL Ohrid; and

• 12 months: in all other cases. 

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

Only persons who are involved in the selection process (e.g. line managers, employees in the recruitment departments, HR employees, members of employee representatives) have access to your personal data. 

In addition, in certain cases your application data may be shared with other job vacancies within the KOSTAL Group, in each case you will be notified by email and your consent will be obtained. The list of all legal entities of the KOSTAL Group can be found in Appendix 1. 

In some cases, we use external service providers to help us fulfill our relevant contractual or legal obligations. These act as processors for us:

We may also transfer personal data to other data controllers if we are obliged to do so by law or by an enforceable official or court order 

Legal rights regarding personal data

Applicants have the right to access the personal data we process and any information relating to how we process it. They also have the right to request their personal data  to be deleted or restrict their processing. They have the right to object processing of the data at any time.
