Vaylens GmbH is a leading provider of hardware-agnostic, scalable software solutions for Charge Point Operators (CPOs) across Europe and the UK. vaylens focuses on the management and monetization of EV (electrict vehicle) charging infrastructure, offering tools for station management, access control, billing, and monetization. In 2024 alone, an amount of energy of 140 GWh was charged via the backend. This corresponds to 700 million kilometers traveled or around 17,500 times around the world. (A consumption of 20 kWh/100km was used as a basis for the calculation.)

The work can be managed remotely – with time-to-time office presence depending on the team’s agreement and the demand of the respective professional area – from any location in Hungary. In case of some company events, office attendance is expected from the colleagues. Technical conditions for working from home are fully in place.

vaylens' e-mobility SaaS platform comprises more than 80 applications and microservices. Our business customer portals (such as the vaylens Portal) and apps are designed to make the management and commercial operation of charging infrastructure as easy, reliable, and efficient as possible. Electric vehicle (EV) drivers depend on a reliable and error-free infrastructure and applications.
Marketing, sales, and service activities at vaylens are managed via Salesforce, which also powers our customer knowledge base and the Agentforce-driven customer chatbot. As the e-mobility market continues to grow at a rapid pace, new digital products and processes must be developed within this ecosystem. As a Professional Salesforce Test Engineer, you will play a key role in safeguarding the quality and reliability of our core business processes – helping us deliver a smooth and trusted experience for customers, partners and EV drivers.
- As a Professional Test Engineer, you drive test activities within an interdisciplinary agile software development team.
- As an integrated part of an agile team, you and your teammates are responsible for retaining our product and process quality by application of state-of-the-art test methodologies.
- You have a focus on manual testing of Salesforce in combination with surrounding services. You design, implement and maintain manual tests for data and processes implemented in Salesforce for our charge point management system (CPMS).
- You can identify relevant customer use cases and transfer them into test cases.
- You work together with developers, business analysts and requirement engineers to understand functional and non-functional requirements, you evaluate reported bugs and approve fixes.
- You have a deep knowledge of testing methodologies and can share that knowledge with other testers as well as train new colleagues.
You will work with international colleagues in our scaled agile software development program using SAFe methodology and Scrum
Qualifikationen
- University degree in Computer Sciences/Business Informatics or similar education
- 3+ years of professional experience as Salesforce Test Engineer
- Experience with (manual) functional and integration tests of Salesforce implementations in combination with micro services, accounting and ERP systems.
- Solid understanding of API testing and proficiency with relevant tools (e.g., Postman, Insomnia, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce test automation with JavaScript frameworks like Cypress, Playwright or Selenium is an advantage.
- Ideally, at least basic experience in ERP systems.
- Basic experience in invoicing and payment procedures is an advantage.
- Salesforce Admin Certification is an advantage.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) and ideally, with the Agile Tester (CTFL-AT) extension
- Fluent in English
- As per need – usually 2-4 weeks per year to Germany or similar
