In Hungary, KOSTAL is about to build its first business service centre to provide business support in IT, finance, procurement, master data, sales and HR fields. This will be a global centre with high value-added and complex processes.

Overall Purpose of Job:

As a member of KOSTAL you will support the users in our product development departments. The colleagues in these departments work with a wide set of applications in the areas of mechanical and electrical hardware as well as software development for our products.

You will learn to understand the processes involved in R&D and engineering, and how to use the tools to support them during incidents and service requests.

Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:

  • Support users in our product development departments worldwide, with a focus on the EMEA region.
  • Administration of the platform for issue exchange with our automotive OEM customers and suppliers, including communication.
  • Handle second-level tickets for our company-wide Product Lifecycle System CIM Database.
  • Administration and configuration of engineering applications according to business needs.
  • Operating and installing applications used in product development.
  • Monitoring the service to ensure optimal quality and availability of the application environment.
  • Working as part of a team of PLM specialists, mainly based in Hungary and Germany

Qualifikationen

Experiences and Requirements:

  • Education in IT, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in IT or a similar role.
  • Engineering knowledge or experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems is a plus and can help ease the transition into this role.
  • Experience in scripting for issue exchange, as well as PLM system configuration and administration, is highly desirable.
  • Strong programming skills in Java are required; experience with Python is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of MS Windows operating systems.
  • Fluency in English.
